The Asia Insurance Industry Awards (AIIA) have reached a landmark 30th year, with nominations now officially open.
This signals the start of the race to determine who will take home an AIIA trophy in November, while also serving as a meaningful reflection of the Asian insurance industry’s evolution over the years.
Despite the challenges and changes across these past three decades, the AIIA trophy remains a constant within the industry, the hardware that everyone wants to win. These awards remain a testament to the endurance, commitment and true spirit that the insurance industry embodies.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Awards, we are pleased to launch a brand-new category, the Regional Reinsurance Broker of the Year to celebrate achievements of the regional players headquartered in Asia.
Over the years, we have seen the significant contributions of the Asian regional reinsurance brokers play and felt it was timely to recognise the vital and often under-represented role of Asian brokers who shape the Asian landscape. The aim is to create a more inclusive platform, honouring regional Asian grown companies for their influence and ingenuity in serving the cultural nuances that represent Asia. It is time to celebrate and recognise companies that thrive in Asia.

The deadline for third-party nominations is 6 May, while self-nominations close on 29 May.
